Overview

On behalf of our client Thanos Hotels & Resorts, we are seeking to recruit an experienced PA to the ANASSA Hotel Manager.

 

Role

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Hotel Manager.
  • Organize and manage efficiently the routine work activities and provide clerical support.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide full professional, secretarial and administrative support
  • Perform record keeping and clerical functions (e.g. scheduling, copying, faxing, filing, collating etc.)
  • Screen calls, enquiries and requests, and deal with them when appropriate
  • Produce documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations for the manager
  • Organize meetings and ensure that manager is well prepared for those meetings, preparing agendas, pre-meeting briefings and meeting papers.
  • Process manager correspondence, ensuring that incoming correspondence is dealt with by the manager, or other staff as appropriate
  • Maintain manager office systems, including data management and filing
  • Maintain records of manager contacts
  • Manage manager’s travel arrangements (including visas/accommodation where necessary)
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Ensure that duties are carried out in an honest and ethical way by abiding the Company’s rules and regulations and the Cyprus Law.
  • Perform any other relevant duties assigned by the Hotel Manager
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a PA at Senior Management level in Hospitality, OR experience in a Management role in Hospitality 
  • Excellent command of the English language. Greek will be a great advantage.
  • Residence based in Paphos area
  • Skills in database management and record keeping
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office
  • Able to follow up on assignments keeping deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with initiative, autonomously and as part of a team
  • Tactful and discrete when dealing with people
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast pace environment
  • A flexible, pro-active approach to work including the ability to prioritise and re-prioritise
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality
  • Pleasant, honest and friendly personality
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant field will be considered as an advantage
  • EU Nationality/Work Permit

IMORTANT NOTE: The successful candidate will replace the current one who is going to retirement after 25 years of having that role. As she the retirement date is at the end of the season, the successful candidate will only be working part time this season (every day but less hours), and will start full time from next year.
